We wanted flannel sheets for the winter but needed something stretchy to get the most comfort from our Purple mattress. We thought cotton jersey bedding might work and chose them because the description and reviews suggested they were thicker than regular jersey and more like flannel. These sheets really feel like mid-weight cotton flannel - they're very soft and warm, but not overly hot like microfleece or other synthetics. They fit well and have enough stretch to make them a viable option for Purple. I've washed them (hot water and tumble dry) about 8 times and they seem to be holding up very well. We didn't expect to like these sheets so much (especially at such a low price) and are very happy with this purchase.
