I ordered this mount so I can take the GPS on my Harley on a 4 day trip to East Texas. It rained every 350 miles for the first two days. I was very happy that I got a mount that protects from the weather. It was behind the windshield, but a drop of water still got on the outside of the mount. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have something in front to protect it from the rain if you're riding in one. I would recommend this mount for weather protection. I have a complaint about the plastic clip on the mount to keep it from coming loose. I took the GPS off the bike and the clip broke. The mount will still work, but it can be easily removed and removed. Thanks it will still work fine but I will continue to monitor it to make sure it hasn't become too loose to continue. You have to accept that with articles from China.
