This product arrived a day earlier than expected. So I installed it and it fits perfectly. I didn't have to modify anything. On my first day of riding, I noticed smoother throttle response and turbo boost. It's best to never change the air filter again ($50 every 2 months). Whether you make a profit or not, you simply don't need to buy another filter, it's worth it. My only recommendation is to go to the K&N website and compare the heavy equipment air filter to make sure you are getting the correct part number. I almost bought the wrong one as some look the same
