It's hard to tell from the light reflection on the vinyl. This vinyl tears easily when weed (see first picture). It bubbles up when removed from the mat and I have a very worn carpet (see pic 2). Image 3 shows "scratch lines" going through randomly. Not impressed with the money spent. Vinyl is very thin/thin. There are no grid markings on the back to cut straight or determine the amount needed (pull out rulers and paper cutters). There is a plastic sheet on the top that you will need to remove so cut off part then remove the sheet so you can protect the rest as it won't stick again. When you take it off the cutting mat it tends to bubble up. I had to go over it lightly with a scraper to squeeze out the air bubbles. Not intended for complex designs. I use it to underlay/offset large bold letters. Super screwed up.
