Lenovo does not support this dock
I bought this docking station for use with the P71 high performance CAD and 3D workstation. The docking station is not plug and play, it will not work with an external 4K UHD monitor with a native resolution of 3840x2160. You can eventually get the dock to send a video signal, but all will be lost if your computer goes to sleep, shuts down, or is removed from the dock. Lenovo tech support is unhelpful and rude as mentioned in another review. I'm very disappointed in Lenovo, both in terms of product and support.
