I replaced a hanging hood with inefficient airflow with this 30" Cosmo stainless steel hood. Although it was intended for mounting under a cabinet or on a wall, I have successfully hung it over my gas stove using an airplane cord that I threaded through the existing top mounting holes. Ceiling hood. Much better than the previous hood. The stainless steel is beautiful and the two LED bulbs are energy efficient and provide nice lighting for my cooking area. I've looked at hoods that cost seven times as much. No other brand had all the features I needed for drop ceiling mounting. Even after direct contact with several manufacturers, none of the other options were realistically feasible. Thanks cosmo You have added class to our cuisine.
