Review on 4-Pack Wooden Stand Mixer Attachment Holders - Kitchen Accessory Organizer For Dough Hooks, Space-Saving Storage Tools In Brown By HOMKO by Kyle Smernes

Poorly made for my opinion

This is supposed to be simple enough: two pieces to screw together with two screws. Except that the slot the upper piece is supposed to sit in is too small to fit it. Not even close. Just a moment of quality control to make sure the only two pieces fit together the way they are supposed to would have saved the whole thing, but they didn't take that one moment.Even though it would be kind of crappy, it could still have kind of worked if the screws had been longer, but they weren't, because they were the length they should have been if the two pieces had fit together correctly. So, screwing it together this way resulted in a wobbly attachment. In the end, I turned the base upside down so that the upper portion could sit on a flat surface rather than on top of a hole it doesn't fit in. This way, the screws were able to go in as deeply as they were meant to. It looks stupid, because the slippy pads are now on top instead of on the bottom. I don't want to peel them off because I can tell it will leave glue residue. The finish is also not water repellent, which is weird for something that will be used in a baking area. And there are some really rough edges.I'm going to end up painting it and deal with the slippy pads at that time. I'm only keeping it because the hooks themselves are good and I don't see any other similar products available.

Pros
  • Compatibility - The stand mixer attachment sticks firmly to the wooden stand, holds up to 4 mixer accessories. Universal design compatible with all kinds of Kitchen Aid mixer assecories, includes Flex Edge Beater, Flat Beater, Dough Hooks and Wire Whip.
Cons
  • Over time, wood can be prone to damage or decay if not properly maintained. If the holders become wet or exposed to excessive moisture, they may warp or crack, requiring replacements or repairs
