Used twelve times since purchase September 2020. at least twice a week not to shave or pluck your hair at all. In some places hair growth has stopped completely, in others the hair has become so thin that it is almost invisible. I expect that in a few months this unit will only be used for maintenance once a year. Worth the purchase price. My hair is dark to medium brown. My skin is light to medium. I used settings 1 through 4 but didn't see any results until I increased it to 3 and then 4. Maybe that's why I'll still have to use them for the next month or so, I had to increase the setting earlier in my use. I have used 450 blasts since purchase to get the results I have. I haven't tried setting 5 as setting 4 seems to be very effective. I may have wasted a lot of explosions on low settings that could have been avoided had I used the right one to begin with. It doesn't hurt as much as I first thought and I don't have to use a balm/lotion after using it. I had very little redness after using it.
