**UPDATE** Looks pretty worn after 2 months but mostly because my girls haven't chewed any underwear (and it was washed a ton), the foam is half chewed but my piglets there were no side effects, so that's a plus. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, this is my piglets' favorite bed. I have washed this bed 4 times so far and it is like new. Unfortunately, like a real guinea pig, my girls managed to gnaw through the bottom seam and get to the foam bed, but once they realized it wasn't food they left them alone. Also, if your pet is a big fan of chewing, make sure they don't choke their eyes or nose. But other than that, it's a very cute and functional bed!
