Really nice toaster especially for the price. Great look and is very versatile. Even Poptarts work - just lower the lever first then drop them in. That keeps them centered so they don't have a chance to get caught in the gaps & refuse to pop up. I was having to do that on my other toaster too ever since they started making them thinner. When my toaster arrived, like some other reviews, one side was toasting darker than the other, but I gently pulled the top of the offending side guides to the center just slightly. Really didn't even feel it move, but it makes perfect toast now because the bread is now centered when the lever is depressed. Unplug first of course. Maybe I shouldn't have, but at this price, felt it was worth the risk - saved me from having to return it. Have used the defrost for frozen waffles, the one-sided toasting for bagels & the Reheat settings - all work great. Have not used the warming attachment as yet. For one-sided toasting it's the outer elements that do the toasting - my instruction booklet says the opposite. You'll have to play with the dial to find your ideal level of toasting for various items. On mine, for normal toast, 2 is perfect. The cover lid gives it a very nice look on the counter when not in use. Really enjoying this toaster - great purchase and would buy it again. Next day delivery from ebay was an extra plus.
