Review on Sony MDR-EX10LP/DBL Cobalt Blue Earbud Headphones by Laura Evans

I bought these to replace a pair I bought at my local store a few years ago for just a few dollars more. I was hoping they would be the same as the ones I bought at retail but unfortunately they are not. The bass isn't that clear, it almost rattles when played loudly. I can't max them out on my Droid Razr Maxx or it sounds terrible. My 3 year old Sony didn't have this problem. Update: I bought them in early August. They stay on my desk at work and are used 40 hours a week. The right handset stopped working. The same problem seems to occur with many newer buyers. I don't think they make them like they used to. The old pair lasted 3 years before this problem surfaced, but that was due to me putting the phone in my pocket and constantly kinking the wires. I didn't use this pair in this way and kept them plugged into my laptop all the time to avoid this problem. Wire wiggle doesn't bring the right side back to life either (like my old pair did), so I'm not sure if it's a loose wire issue. Up to 1 star as they lasted less than 4 months.
