Review on Motorcraft DG-530 Black Ignition Coil Assembly: Enhanced Performance and Durability by Gregory Chaitanya

1993 Ranger had a misfire that randomly turned on the Check Engine light and then ran very hard at low power. Replaced the coil packs (2 dealerships never tested this) and the CEL no longer shows and performance is much better. Suddenly I have more horsepower at lower revs. This means both of my spark plugs weren't getting enough voltage to ignite the fuel. There was a difference between day and night after I installed the coil packs. It is good to have 2 of these new ones installed in the ranger at the same time.
