Pros: The answering machine announces calls in a loud, clear voice. Ideal for hard of hearing home users who rarely wear hearing aids! That's all positive I can say about the system but important and works in our case. Cons: One of the most confusing customization systems I've come across. Eat your Wheaties before you open the box. The sound quality in phones is so-so. Sometimes a lot of static. And if you're going to be on the phone for a while, be prepared that he's going to DIE in about ten minutes. Again, the person we bought this system for only uses the phone for short calls, so sending it back and starting over isn't a good idea. If you're having trouble setting up systems or planning longer portable calls, this phone isn't for you.
