Knife cuts cardboard as described. I've been working with thick cardboard with protective gloves and it started abruptly, but I personally found it a bit difficult to cut through the same cardboard after some cutting. Maybe my hands are tired. The handles are also small to grip and I had a hard time holding them and cutting without stopping. In general, the knife did what I wanted. I hope to be able to use it again in the near future. The cutter didn't come with instructions, but there's a simple trick I found out after some experience using it. The two sides of the blade are slightly different, I think for cutting curves. You won't even notice until you pay close attention. When cutting curves, one side of the blade (must be taken into account) should face the inside of the curve for better cutting. The attached picture shows what I cut out of cardboard and colored. I hope it answers many questions. You can definitely put it to good use if you have the patience.
