This flashlight is ideal for locating pet stains. I have a cat that would sometimes start squirting and if anyone has come across this you know how gross it is. It stinks, sticks to surfaces and is just gross. I was very upset because I couldn't catch my cat when he did. This flashlight solved all my problems but honestly opened up a whole new world of spot viewing. I have a carpet and this light shows EVERY stain which was a revelation for me. If you take it to the kitchen, it will also show you oil/grease residue and old spatters on the walls.
