I didn't like this clog remover at first. Other Velcro types seem to be better at grabbing clogged hairs. Our shower drain gets clogged with hair, typically 6-8 inches deep. This is where this product has amazing benefits. I just slide it down the drain about 8 inches. The curls of this type are a bit awkward due to its width unlike the other styles. But since it has serrations throughout, I only cut off the last 6 inches. switch off and reuse the rest of the tool. This allows me to use each drainage tool about 7 times compared to using the velcro style once. Because of this, I can get many uses, and it's very nice. I highly recommend this if your block isn't as far off as ours always is.
