I got this USB WiFi dongle because it has a Realtek RTL8188CUS chipset. This chipset is powered by Ooma Telo. If you are looking for a wireless device (USB) for Ooma Telo, look no further, it works. You must already have a wired connection (or at least a connection) to Ooma to set up this device. Once you have it set up (choose SSID etc) either restart Ooma, disconnect your cable connection and once connected go back to settings to check everything. At this point, the device feels warm, not hot, and has been connected for more than 24 hours. I would either buy two of these just in case or have an extra spare. I have a TL-WR810N Wi-Fi TP Link Wireless Travel Router as a backup in case it burns out.
