I have an EA6900 that I want to replace. Unfortunately the new EA6900 is not the same router as the old EA6900, although the router model name is the same, this product only supports WIFI instead of dedicated CAT 5/6 connections. My whole house is connected with CAT 6 cable and I find the wired connection to be the fastest connection. I was very disappointed with the throughput speed. I called tech support (Philippines, not US) and according to my usual Linksis support contact, I could barely hear the rep and barely understand what she was saying. The WiFi signal is significantly slower than the wired signal. I don't use wifi that much and am used to a high speed connection, this router was an absolute speed rip-off.
