Just delivered and they look good at first glance. The production date I had was 10/20. and the expiry date was 10/25. So it looks like it will be good for just under 5 years until it arrives. It's pretty hefty and the packaging looks and feels good. Both came in white packaging, which confused me a bit, but one had a sticker that said 'Cinnamon'. I decided to open one of them and went with cinnamon first. They are all boxed together and all individually wrapped in what appears to be very thin plastic. Because it's so densely packed, they're all in one unit that's surprisingly easy to take apart. They are slightly oily on the outside and have a light, pleasant smell of cinnamon. I tried the bar and they taste pretty good to be honest. They're simple, taste distinctly like cinnamon, and are nearly harmless. The texture is a bit crumbly but dense. It doesn't feel like a compressed powder bar and it's moist so it doesn't dry out your throat. What struck me is the high sugar content. One bar contains 31 grams of sugar, which is quite a lot, especially if you eat three of these bars a day according to directions. It doesn't bother me too much because that's not the purpose of this product. This is a stable emergency ration that can function under various conditions, remain stable for 5 years and finally provide calories and energy on the go or survive longer. all the time without feeling thirsty. All in all, these bars are solid purchases and provide security and convenience, knowing you have something for emergencies. Summary: + Shelf life for 5 years + Packaging is secure and looks like "everything lasts" + Tastes good, mostly plain with a hint of cinnamon + Each bar is individually wrapped and peels off easily. (I don't think they last 5 years after you open the main bag.) - It's unhealthy, but hey, you're trying to survive here. 10/10 would buy again. I hope this review has been helpful to you all.
