Short story: Excellent teapot of the highest quality! Recommended by 300%. Long story: We had a lot of trouble finding a proper kettle. We bought many different teapots made in mainland China although they weren't cheap, all these teapots shed dirt into the water when boiling, rusted and had some suspicious looking gray spots inside, the parts didn't fit together and such further. You have the idea that wherever we buy teapots made in mainland China, it's always the same experience, somewhere between poor quality and health risk. And finally I searched "teapot made in Japan" and found this beauty. Can't love it enough! The sturdy thick metal body keeps the water hot for a long time, no dirt, no gray stains, no rust, the kettle stays mirror image inside and out, every detail fits like a glove! This teapot is designed with end use in mind, down to the smallest detail. The teapot is right!
