Attention customers. I bought it to install in a place I was hired to renovate. I bought because I said direct wiring. You should be more specific in the description that this is NOT a straight wire. You will need to purchase a low profile junction box and plug your light into that box. I ended up tossing the thing on the street and rushing to Lowe's to buy some direct-wired lighting. Since I gave it up out of desperation, it cannot be returned. I thought it would convert to straight wire, but it isn't. I didn't want to follow their instructions because that would require additional wiring and hiding wires. Save time and money and just buy something else.
