This kit has everything I need for my Nintendo plus some very nice switch caps. Follow some tips and tricks to install the screen protector via Youtube, no bubbles. I haven't used joycon cases because I still like the feel that they aren't closed. However, I would like the middle part to be closed, so I really appreciate the idea of separating joycon and screen housing, the housing is transparent and durable. The case itself is snug enough that I can easily stow my Nintendo and also not clutter my shoulder bag to carry on a trip outside. Overall I think it's a good investment if, like me, you want something compact that's easy to carry.
