This is by far my favorite English budgie toy! The bell is metal and has a good RING (which was nice as most bells have a nifty light key!). I expected the utensils to be metal but they are plastic. I would say the same as the plastic cutlery you would use for a bridal shower or something. That's fine as it makes the toy light weight as long as the silver isn't toxic, which I can only hope is. My bird doesn't chew, just nibbles on them, but I wonder how they would have dealt with a larger bird chewing on them. In general. This is my bird's favorite toy! Highly recommended for budgies! :^)
