Good hood. It was easy to install. I had to add two pieces of wood to the bottom of my cabinets to make them fit because the edges of my cabinet were too thin and the screw placement was on the inside. So I bought a 24" long 1" x 1" stick at Home Depot for $1.68, cut it in half with a miter saw, glued it and screwed it to the inside wall of the cabinet edges. It just worked magically. Then he took the hood to the cabinets, marked the spots to attach the screws, drilled holes in the wood, put the screws in so the heads were sticking out a bit, leveled the hood, tightened the screws, and it held, a 60 screwed in -Watt bulb., connected white to white, black to black and grounded. Put the power back on and we were in business. Took me 15 minutes to install. The ONLY thing I don't like about the hood is the filter You know there has to be something more substantial because sometimes I have to clean it, otherwise the hood is perfect.
