Product design seems good. The hard molded plastic interior holds the cards in place perfectly without being so tight that it looks like it will break or damage them. It looks good enough. The included carabiner, while cheap, is a nice touch. BUT: I had this in my backpack on a hike in the rain. And I'm not talking about torrential downpours. It was raining lightly, about a 2-3 hour hike. The product has never been submerged in water and the outside was not very wet either. Nothing got wet in my backpack, although everything was wet. When I opened the box, everything was wet inside too. This is totally unacceptable. I understand that it is not waterproof and that I should not drop it to the bottom of a lake during the day and expect it to keep my cards safe. But if it struggles to stay dry in a humid environment, to call it "waterproof" would be double-dealing and wrong. That was the last trip I ever took him on. Get something better now.
