Bought matte black for my 2021 TRD Off Road and it looks good and goes well with the black trim if you already have them. Definitely makes a difference if you plan on stripping the chrome from the entire truck for an all black matte finish. One thing to note is that the edges aren't that sharp BUT you won't notice it anyway since they're included in the 4Runner grid area. It doesn't exactly fit the chrome piece, but when placed correctly it looks good for what you're getting. I would buy it again and wouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg for anything else. Let's see how the adhesion holds up and if it wears off over time. subject to clarification.
