Comfortable to sit and read or in the car to look down to read from time to time. However, I found them very difficult to walk. I bought them to travel the Mediterranean, visit ruins, visit airports and walk around different parts of the city. As I was constantly walking up and down stairs, I found that the glasses were rather cumbersome and nearly made me fall over trying to look at my feet as we paced up and down different levels and uneven sidewalk. I couldn't even wear them outside when I needed them most because of visual distortion. If you sit and read, that's fine. If you're wearing them while you're moving and need to look at your feet to figure out where your next step is, not great.
