bought this dress for her daughter for christmas she is very tall and slim for her age and thought it would fit be excellent in terms of dimensions. However, the sizes for little girls are huge! Nautica is known to be a bit smaller and thinner for its clothes, but not in this case. This dress is WAY too big for her right now. Rather than deal with the difficulties of returning, we went ahead and left her to eventually grow up. We bought a medium size as we thought it would have some wiggle room as shown in the sizing chart and it has MORE than wiggle room. The fabric is also very dense and rough, still very stiff even after washing, very much like a uniform whose purpose has not been bought.
