I have very sensitive ears. I have had four silver earrings in my ears (two in each ear) for four days now. If my ears responded, they would usually do so within 24 hours. When they react, a hole begins to itch in my ears. Then I know I have to take them out, but when I'm sleeping, for example, and don't take them out, discharge starts coming out of my ears, red, irritated, itchy and even bleeding where the skin touches the medal. So far so good with these. They look strong and solid. The backrests stay in place and are more comfortable to sleep in compared to your average hairpin. They seem very well made for their price. I'll edit this review if my ears are responding poorly, but so far so good! I love her!
