This is good artificial grass that does what it needs to! I actually got this to use instead of litter in my chicken coop and it works well for keeping it clean. While water can trickle through the backer on this, the grass does hold solids well. It's easy to rinse off with a hose and, so far, doesn't seem to trap scents.My main con on this is that, as other reviewers have noted, it doesn't like to lay flat. However, I imagine that this will eventually correct itself if laid flat for long enough. Additionally, it does shed more than other artificial turfs that I've used previously. While it is holding up well to regular traffic and some scratching so far, it may or may not stand up to heavy use or for a long time.Overall, this is good artificial grass! It's as advertised, easy to clean, and, while it does shed more than I'd like, it seems sturdy for what it is so far.
