The mug is great but with a caveat

I love the mug. It looks neat and does what it's supposed to. The cup is heavy and I have carpal tunnel so that was an issue but I adjusted by not filling it all the way. I carry ice filled liquids with me throughout the day and using a cup can strengthen my wrist. The mug came with a card with instructions to register for the 14 day lifetime warranty at @warranty@atlinsport.com. Name your email address "Cup Guarantee" . This information email did not work and led to Atlinsport.com. From there you can check their warranty. They will replace the mug if it arrives damaged. No lifetime guarantee. A limited warranty that didn't seem worth the hassle. Based on how well made the mug is, I expect it will last me a lifetime, or at least a very long time. Add more info: About 8 months after purchase I found I was drinking bits of the black gasket on the lid. which got worse. I wrote Atlin the issue expecting the lid to be replaced because I registered the mug for a lifetime warranty. The first response I received was from the customer service (specialist) asking: order number, address, details of the problem, photos of the problem, when I noticed it, peel it off if there is no liquid in it and for what I do drink used it. I submitted all the applications. Second answer to Lisa: You can replace the cap, but the order is missing a number # so and so. Order number so and so without number was not my order number. I pointed this out to Lisa in my answer. Third answer from Lisa: You can't find my order details. Please send a screenshot. I do. Fourth Response from Rey: He says the screenshot I provided says "Used like new" on the order. This was a description that included brand new items that were never purchased (overstock), items that only had packaging damage, and items that may have a scratch or dent but do not affect function. My mug was brand new. I gave a good review and after several months of use I had no problems. Well, Rey jumped on the description to turn down a replacement. This may have put him at the top of those receiving the most successful rejections this month. Now I would be happy if they just replaced the gasket after learning that the product they were selling didn't work. I wouldn't even feel bad after they made me jump through all the hoops they made replacing it. Replacing the cap would be even better, but not necessary. All I see is their determination to deny everything they can. I replaced the gasket. I found 2 packs online for $7. $3.50 each. I'm wondering how much they charge for a pad when they make their cups?
