This case fits very tight... Actually I had to stretch a bit with a screwdriver to fit the iPad 8th gen... But it seems strong enough be... I have no intention of dropping it. But I really wish there was a strap across the back because they think it's hard to hold on to. I have very small hands and can hardly fit four fingers. But you can adjust the angle, which is great. Also a very small thing, but I would like it in color and not just black. It is as advertised
