Cleans the air well and doesn't work like a fan like most air purifiers. Since I don't have to replace the filters, I pay less over time and don't have to worry about them being discontinued (the reason I threw away my old air purifier). It doesn't remove as much as a HEPA filter, but to me the lower maintenance of the Ionic model makes up for that. I removed 1 star because it made a weird hissing sound at times that startled me and woke me up for the first few nights. The blue LED on top is bright enough to light up my entire room, so I had to tape it off to sleep.
