Promising but a nightmare to start with

I was very lucky to have this card in my PC. However, I have never managed to get the card to work 100% other than Bluetooth. Bluetooth worked great. IU has Windows 10 64-bit on my PC but it kept resetting the card (without recognizing it) and the software (drivers and wifi management software) from TP-Link didn't help and didn't seem to do anything. When I finally got it working. it was very slow on 2.4GHz and 5GHz; approx. <100 MB and the connection takes a maximum of 10 minutes. Tested in both PCI-E 1x slots and each USB port on my board when the PC was 8ft from the router. Instead, I opted for an over-the-air cable. Everything in the box was very well made and the base has VERY strong magnets. I'm not sure if it was user error or a hardware issue, either on the cards' part or mine.
