When replacing the air filters for your FP-A80UW, you must buy both this filter and the activated charcoal filter. I use subscribe and save as a helpful reminder to change my filters regularly.This filter isn't cheap, but it is well made. There are arrows printed on the filter to help you orient it properly. It fits securely (as it should for an OEM product) and it performs extremely well. I have used this filter in heavily soiled environments and it can more than keep up. While the filter may last up to two years, your mileage will depend heavily on the environment the filter is in. In my environment, every six months is when I like to change.If you paid a premium for a higher-end air purifier, you owe it to yourself to use a quality filter.
