Very precise. But very, very cinematic. Can be < 1/16 inch thick. Unless you have a board that is at least 8 inches wide, it will be difficult to use this 12 inch ruler. It will bend as it is too thin and wavy. For a board wider than 6 inches that can only measure one end, this is the only tape option you have left. And it's very easy to damage or bend this ruler if you accidentally drop it or put something on it, and most of the precision you want has long since evaporated with each bend, so keep the box and remember that although it is made of steel, it must be handled with care as it is so fragile that it can easily be bent.
