Ordered 2 because long before COVID-19 I had bought a similar product from a nearby online bathroom and bedding store that works great and I wanted something similar. They matched my door and looked very similar in design. However, my old one looks decent wherever I put it because the paint doesn't scratch in those places. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough clean detail between them to do even one that I didn't have to inspect for scratches. I don't have a separate laundry room so everything is outside and I prefer it to look neat and clean whether it's in use or not. In addition, it is easy to assemble. I'll have to wait and see if they hold up to the stresses I need over time. I also don't know if the slightly scratchy coating is to blame. The other guy doesn't. Replacement parts can be scratched just as easily and I would have to wait too long for them at this point. Pretty disappointing. Later in the day: After clipping one to the door to test it, I adjusted the setting to clip it to the door so I could close it when not in use. IT DOES NOT CLOSE TIGHT! It was meant to fit snugly against the door like my other one, but instead the stem on this one is in a position that prevents it from closing. Also, I noticed that the supports are twisted. from the door when the bar is in, so they scratch it. Well, they must be returned now. I cannot recommend any product that will damage the door and not do half the job.
