When I first got this mouse, it came packaged with an MK700 keyboard, which I also purchased at the same time. Since then, approximately once every four years, the left button on the mouse starts to fail; it delivers double clicks when pressed once, and as a result, you are required to either purchase a new mouse or make an attempt to fix the one you already have. Since quite some time ago, the issue with the left button has been brought to Logitech's attention; however, it is unclear why the company has not made an effort to fix the issue despite having ample opportunity to do so. Before I decided to purchase a new mouse, I did some research to determine what other options are currently available that are compatible with the Unifying receiver. However, in the end, I decided to stick with the same mouse because it is ideal for me in every other respect. Everything works very well in terms of ergonomics as well as movement across a variety of surfaces. One drawback, though, is that it takes practice to be able to click the middle button without the screen scrolling in either direction.
