The plates don't touch so the iron is useless
I have a regular size iron (different brand) but I was looking for a very thin iron. This is meant to be a FLAT iron; This means the plates must be flat and come together to grip and smooth the hair. Unfortunately, the only place these plates converge is at the very top; otherwise they gape and never converge, making it impossible to grab or straighten a lock of hair. This item will be returned.
