I like the look of these shoes. My son is a very, very (did I mention VERY?) active three year old. He ruins shoes by running everywhere, climbing rocks, kicking gravel, and using his feet as brakes on his scooter. Thus, this shoe has withstood these active demands well. BUT they also fell off a few times. His feet are the right length for her, but they dangle a bit on top where the tongue is. I've tied them as tightly as I dared without overdoing them and with only two pairs of grommets, they're still not too tight on my son's legs.
