I ordered this coat for my lab/bully mix in size XL. The neck seemed a bit tight, and it was also a bit short at the tail. So I ordered 2X to see if it would fit better. There was a big difference just going 1 size up. 2x was too big on the chest (and letting in too much cold air) and too long on the tail. So I stayed with XL. I thought maybe the neck area would stretch with use but it doesn't and it's still a bit hard to get rid of. It's warm to the touch (as its warm fur shows where its fur is) and it's water-resistant. . She is very easy to care for, although she is loved (drooled) by her friend next door (neighborhood dog). I recommended it to my neighbor as she liked it when she saw it. Would I order again because I think it's warm. And just dealing with the hassle of being very careful when I pull it over her head to take it off.
