Judging by the photos and even out of the box this should be a solid assembly - but it isn't. No tube supports or guides were inserted into the telescopic tubes at the factory, the longer you extend the stand the more it wobbles, as the inner tubes are not fully supported apart from the tube clamps. Also, the legs of the tripod must be opened to a very small and defined "best spot" or else the tripod will bang against the center tube, further aggravating the wobble as only two of the three legs are touching the ground. Finally, the spring-loaded tablet holder barely opens wide enough to hold a larger iPad, so don't even try using it with an iPad in a case. Most likely, you will drop a very expensive tablet on the floor. The only positive thing about this stand is that the separate phone holder works really well. If you're looking for a cell phone or iPad mini stand, this one is probably fine; but it's not even remotely stable enough to hold an iPad Pro. I am very disappointed with my purchase.
