I like that this is a glass carafe so it doesn't break down over time like plastic bottles. The silicone holder on the bottom and the stainless steel lid are also a great combination! I actually use it to store liquid detergent to reduce the environmental emissions of the big laundry jugs. The silicone base means I can store it on our dryer and it doesn't rattle at all. The non-drip top really doesn't drip so after 6 months of use our laundry was completely free of soap drips or stains!
