I have bought bags from several different brands at once because I have a lot of blankets and dresses to store and I would say these are not the best of all the brands. but they are good enough. They stay closed. The bag is made out of something not so soft and pliable, and it seems that tearing it apart won't be difficult. I've been using them for a few months and the ones that are still sealed have not leaked. I have also used the same bag more than once and they are still holding up. Easy to remove air. Just make sure you buy big enough because you can never completely fill these pockets.
