I've wanted this controller for a long time and finally got around to it. As someone who plays PC games and doesn't own an Xbox One (x/s), playing different games is more of a luxury for the looks. I like the colors, 50/50 in the photo. The top is black and the bottom is blue. That's true, but from different angles the controller can appear mostly blue or mostly black. I love this design and that was the main reason I bought this controller. The only downside for me is that the top half attracts some grease and fingerprints. If that bothers you, I can't recommend this controller.
