I needed an extra SSD card reader and USB hub for my laptop. Saw this and thought I'd cover my bases nicely in one piece. Plugged in and had no problems. I connected some cables and my computer recognized them. Brilliant. Then it went to the SD card reader. And this is the problem. The SD card reader allows me to insert the card but it is poorly designed or something is not visible preventing me from fully inserting the card into the slot. So I can't use it as an SD card reader as intended, but I have extra USB ports. Now I just plug the old reader into one of the ports until the ideal matches me
