The first unit arrived and a TERRIBLE decision on my part to buy it. I hope the replacement is better!

Ok where do I start, what's not to like about this product? The first is that the foam spray they used inside the unit seeped through all the corners and there was some sort of crack all over the inside and out. I cut and peeled it all over. The door does not close completely, The door does not close properly, you need to push with some force to make sure the door closes, and you will hear a clicking sound when it latches. It can't keep the right temperature. The temperature sensor inside is broken or damaged, I use 3 different thermometers in it and it's always strongly off, I'm not talking about 1 or 2 degrees Fahrenheit, I'm talking about a difference of 3-6 degrees C°. that's a big difference. I am currently using mine for my queen ants. And if I had just assumed the Tempiture readings were correct, my queens would have died. I set it to 28 C°, I let it sit for 24 hours and checked every 4 hours. It only took about 5 minutes to bring the temperature up to 28 C°. Well the LCD screen was 28C but just in case I put 3 separate thermometers in and left them for 4 hours. When I came back and checked them all, they ALL read 34.6C! But the LCD screen on top of the unit still read 28.0°C, so I adjusted the temperature on the unit until I got the right temperature I wanted for my queens. I put them in and check the temperature every hour to make sure they're safe. The temperature fluctuates very often. and I have to adjust the temperature on the device almost every 2 hours. The internal LEDs are broken, securely fastened behind a thin piece of plastic at the top, and turned sideways, not properly illuminating the interior. I don't even want to try. To remove the thin piece of plastic and attach the LEDs because I don't want to be accused of tampering with the device. But for $200 it had to be in great condition and at least have a decent temperature control sensor. Revain was aware of these issues and they immediately set up a replacement device for me. He's on his way and will be here in 6 days. I really hope the new unit works and was assembled properly without anyone using a whole can of spray foam and even waiting for it to dry and check for leaks. it really looks like they sprayed it and just sent the damn unit on its way. It's very simple and clearly visible in every nook and cranny and every look in and out. only hard plastic parts.
