Over the years I've had a lot of hair straighteners, expensive ones from drugstores. I recently cut my hair short and just wanted a thin hairstyle that I can use from time to time. My hair is very curly/wavy and difficult to style, but I feel like this little straightener was a champion! My hair straightens quickly with it and stays straight for at least a day with no touch ups needed. Obviously it's not the highest quality so I'm not sure how long it will last. And it has very simple/basic controls. Worth buying. I think this would be a great starter tool for a teenager too.
