The benefits are that all of a sudden someone is interested. I decided to start a collection. (25th anniversary) like a crow on a shiny one I didn't expose the difference between this port and the regular one in terms of the sound. I keep my ears glued to the ipod. The sound is crisp, and it has a satisfying amount of bass frequencies. The Anniversary model has a rag wire, which does not get rigid when exposed to cold temperatures; in my opinion, these are good headphones for the price, and I am satisfied with my purchase. You won't be sorry if you do; just take it. Some drawbacks include the fact that they slipped some kind of medal into the package (at least the medallion was cleaned), that the medals are thin, that I'm worried to accidently yank the wire, and that I'm especially afraid to touch the device itself. They don't appear to be pricey, which is surprising given the price, but they probably shouldn't be.
