Light but warm.
Very nice jacket. Very light, thin and warm according to my 9 year old. On snowy days, however, he wears his chunky winter jacket. As tour guides we live in New Jersey. A Southerner can survive the winter and a New Englander can survive the summer ;) (Spring/Fall). The size is accurate. (my son is small for his age)
